The Toledo Chamber of Commerce, within the Comprehensive Qualification and Employment Program (PICE), aimed at youngsters from the Youth Guarantee System interested in working in the ceramics industry, has developed several editions of the “Ceramics Course: Noble Trade in Talavera de la Reina”.
They get experience in: organizing the different stages of the process, ensuring the safety of every operation and carrying out the necessary quality controls, until the finished product is obtained.
It lasts 60 hours: 3 weeks, 4 hours a day. The course is mainly a hands-on experience. However, there is a theoretical introduction on the first day to get into the matter and to develop the 1st and 2nd point in the program: introduction to ceramics, and model drawing and creation of sketches.
