Subjects from our educational programs in the School of Arts, such as History of Ceramics, prove it. In this subject, ceramics throughout different time periods in our area are given special relevance. We can find other subjects in other programs; such as Pottery Workshop, Ceramic Workshop, Materials and Technology, that emphasize traditional uses, throughout the different historical periods.
Being in touch with traditional ceramists also adds great value, since students learn from their experience. In this sense, interaction between schools and artisans has grown over the years, although there is always room for improvement. The exhibitions and experiences from current artisans or those in our memories are part of promotion and dissemination programs that this School carries out every year.
